English – Letter J was introduced to the children with an interesting activity where children recognized the objects having names starting with J from a pool of various materials . They also learnt the sound of letter J by repeating the words many times.
24th Dec'2017 was an auspicious day for all the members of SSPS family. "SAI BHAJAN SANDHYA" was organised in the campus as a part of CENTENARY YEAR CELEBRATION OF SHRI SHIRDI SAIBABA MAHASAMADHI and to celebrate birthday of our founder and Guru, Reverend Dr. C.B. SATPATHY ji in a very special way. The programme commenced with lighting of holy lamp by Mr.Manoj Ahuja, Ms. Nalini Arora and Mr.Devasia. The teaching and non-teaching staff of the school joined for beautiful songs and mantras devoted to SAI BABA. 81 different bhogs were prepared by the members of the family. All the devotees were happy to be a part of the celebration and to seek the blessings of Sai Baba. The Sai Sandhya concluded with 'Sai Arti' in a beautiful resonance followed by distribution of Prasad and Preeti Bhoj for all.
The day ended with distribution of blankets to the support staff experiencing the "Joy of giving".
To Add on to the events of CENTENARY CELEBRATION OF SHIRDI SAI BABA MAHASAMADHI and to bring the festive Christmas season forward, winter fete (Theme "Rainbow") was organized with joyful enthusiasm in the huge premises of SSPS on Saturday 23rd Dec 2017. It was a wonderful day filled with much laughter, fun and the theme was based on the message of SAIBABA "Sabka Malik Ek", symbolized by the colours of rainbow.
The fete comprised of various stalls of eatables like: Chatori Chaat corner ,South Indian delicacies, Pao Bhaji, Kathi Rolls, Healthy Chaaps, Maggie point, Chinese Counter, Bakery Items , Italian Pizzas, Choley Bhature, Ice cream Parlour, etc. Fun and Frolic corner included various games: Royale Casino, Shooting challenge ,Fun Valley, Dare to Play, Unlock your Luck, Great Grand Masti, Kids Zone, Camel and horse rides , "Remembrance"- the Photo Corner etc. which left the visitors awestruck.
A special stall organized by the teachers and students of "NAYI DISHA" with Organic masalas, homemade snacks and SAI BABA's momentos was worth appreciation.
The special attraction of the fete was the "SAI SHOW", "Christmas group dance", and "SAI fancy dress show" by the SAIITES, which made the gentry enjoy, the fete to the fullest. A lucky draw as a concluding part of the day was also enjoyed by all.
Such an event provides an engaging environment and make learning enjoyable and purposeful which enables our children to be successful and feel happy to take risks, explore and experiment.

Christmas being the most awaited festival of the year, waves a magic wand over the world and beholds everything becomes softer and beautiful. Soaking in the spirit of Christmas SSPS celebrated the festival on a joyous way on 19th Dec' 2017.
The campus was festooned with colourful steamers and balloons and a brightly decorated Christmas tree. The program began with the students dancing to the beats of "Jingle bells" and "Cheap thrills". The dance was followed by a group song by class 4 children which invited everyone to sing to the tune of "Merry Christmas". This was followed by the song "We three kings" by the students of class 6th and 7th. A play was also performed portraying the concerns and love of SANTA for children. It gave a message that SANTA's love is equal for all and it increases when we d o good deeds.
The best part of the celebration was when a cute little Santa came and distributed sweets to all. The celebration concluded with a message of love by Ms. Daisy saying that Christmas is not just a festival of rejoicing but of reflection. It is all about bringing joy, happiness an love in oneself.

To pour their affection and care on their children, SSPS family organized a celebration on 14th Nov'2017, Childrens' Day in the school campus. It was an ecstatic and joyful day for all. Teachers performed beautiful dances on songs "Dil Hai Chota Sa", "Let's Nacho tunak tunak", "Manva Lage", "Dil Le Gayi", "Lean On". A mime show presented by the teachers gathered a lot of applause. Group song "Bum Bum Bole" sung for the children was also cheered a lot.
